Siracusa Associates is a group of licensed, professional therapists
who have joined together in private practice with a primary goal of
providing effective, timely, and caring treatment to those who seek
our services.  Psychotherapy is offered to individuals, couples,
families, and groups. We provide an in depth, sensitive approach to
emotional, psychological, and educations issues.  All staff are

                      Testing
  • Personality Testing   -  to determine personality style,
    coping mechanisms, and diagnosis of emotional and
    behavioral disorders.

  • Neuropsychological Testing  -   to determine how
    brain disorders affect attention, memory, language,
    visuo-motor coordination, and reasoning.

  • Intellectual Testing  -   to determine intellectual and
    cognitive strengths and weaknesses, eligibility for special
    education services, and other treatment planning.

  • Comprehensive Testing Services To Schools  -   to
    provide in school assessments, consultations, and
    second opinions regarding student behavior and/or
    learning style.
  • An evaluation usually lasts approximately 3 hours.  

If a school refers a child, the school typically assumes the
responsibility of the cost of the evaluation.  If your insurance is
billed, a prior authorization is required that is obtained by your
primary care physician.  Some insurance companies do not
require authorization.  Please contact your insurance company
to inquire about proper authorization.
