Testing
If a school refers a child, the school typically assumes the
responsibility of the cost of the evaluation. If your insurance is
billed, a prior authorization is required that is obtained by your
primary care physician. Some insurance companies do not
require authorization. Please contact your insurance company
to inquire about proper authorization.
- Personality Testing - to determine personality style,
coping mechanisms, and diagnosis of emotional and
behavioral disorders.
- Neuropsychological Testing - to determine how
brain disorders affect attention, memory, language,
visuo-motor coordination, and reasoning.
- Intellectual Testing - to determine intellectual and
cognitive strengths and weaknesses, eligibility for special
education services, and other treatment planning.
- Comprehensive Testing Services To Schools - to
provide in school assessments, consultations, and
second opinions regarding student behavior and/or
learning style. - An evaluation usually lasts approximately 3 hours.
